Mary's high school class reunion was on Labor Day Weekend. It coincided with the annual Nauvoo Grape Festival. Nauvoo used to have a thriving wine industry. There are still a few small wineries in the area. The big event for the festival is on Sunday; the big parade through downtown Nauvoo.
There were the floats,
marching bands,
and the horses brought up the rear.
During her high school days Mary marched with the marching band in the main parade that was always held on Sunday. This year she road and walked the route with her classmates.
